We love babywearing! Benjamin and I have been wearing Xavier since the day he was born and have done probably every safe thing imaginable while wearing him! Why not get a safe, social and structured workout in while enjoying all the other benefits of babywearing?

Babywearing Mat and Props Class

Participants are required to have their own Soft Structured Carrier, woven wrap, or other safe and appropriate babywearing sling. Plan for something that you have good arm mobility in, you are comfortable wearing for a full class, and you don’t mind getting a little sweaty in! If you don’t have a carrier of your own, I highly recommend a visit to Two Mothers in our neighbourhood! Students should bring their own mat and water bottle, all other props will be provided.

Some of the benefits of babywearing might be obvious- like you are handsfree and mobile to get stuff sone and go places! But there’s more to it than you might think. Dr Sears does a great job of reviewing just how valuable this simple act is here.
